Where retirement is not just a state of mind!

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
Retiree Association

Welcome to our Web site!

You are now viewing the Web site of one of the most active  retiree associations in the USA.  Established in 1982, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Retiree Association is a group of involved seniors committed to social, philanthropic, volunteer and communication endeavors.  The Association values its historical and current relationship with BCBSM, a state and national health care leader.  The personal relationships gained and lessons learned from years of active employment at BCBSM continue to influence our member activities.  This Web site is designed to keep BCBSM retirees, BCBSM employees and others informed about Retiree Association happenings and to increase communication and interaction among all.

***What's New***

Retiree Parking: By now you should have received a letter in the mail detailing 24-hour parking access at the downtown Detroit Congress Parking Deck.  You must first register for a parking badge by sending an email to retirementadministration@bcbsm.com including your name, address, phone number and employee ID - if you know it.  Once your request is approved, you will be contacted by BCBSM Enterprise Security to make arrangements for a photo ID badge.  Available times are Monday-Friday, between 8 am and 4 pm at the downtown Tower office only.  A $25 check or money order (no cash or credit cards) is required at the time of your appointment.  The fee covers one year from the date it is issued, which is good for access only to the Congress parking structure and not to the downtown office or any other Blues facilities.
