As evidenced by the attendance (107 happy people), the 2001 Holiday Party was the most successful holiday event we have had in the metropolitan area in recent years.  The Venetian Club in Madison Heights was delightfully decorated in seasonal decor, the family style meal was delicious and accompanied by strolling musicians and, after numerous door prizes were dispensed with, attendees enjoyed dancing and socializing to the music of the Walt Lipiec Trio.  And yes, liquid refreshments were available the whole evening.  Even the weather cooperated like never before.  Would you believe 55 degrees outside?  Lots of positive comments from the attendees.
