2011 Florida Snowbird Lunch
Nineteen people, many from
places at least one and one half miles away, like Naples, Longboat Key
(Sarasota), Ocala and The Villages, gathered on March 9 for the annual luncheon.
This was the 25th anniversary of the event, which was held at Remingtons
Steakhouse in Wesley Chapel, Fla. According to attendee, Sue Loren
Davidson, "This year's luncheon was just lovely and more fun than in past years.
We just wanted to play and be a bit outrageous as we reminisced and shared new
gossip..." In addition to the wonderful organizing and decorating provided
by Dee Stilson, pictures were provided by both Davidson and Cindy Warf (Vanderlinden).
Maybe next year folks from outside Florida will join too!
Once outdoors the group released the silver balloons "for peace in the world." Dee Stilson did a wonderful job organizing the special event.
