| 2011 Blissfield Murder Mystery Train TripAlthough the day seemed a bit dreary, it was perfect for a comfortable train ride though the Michigan countryside. Buses leaving from one eastern plus one western Detroit area location, transported retirees and friends to the Blissfield, MI train station. From there the train traveled down a segment of the original Erie and Kalamazoo railroad line that began operations in 1836, passing through rich farmland thought to have been, in prehistoric times, the bottom of Lake Erie. Along the way, participants enjoyed a sit-down dinner with dessert and libations at cozy tables of four. Even better, we all became part of the show, School's Out, a murder mystery in which performers provided background information and a series of clues to help the audience guess the murderer. It was a great time with passengers actively participating in the funny farce. When we arrived back at Blissfield, some also took the opportunity to visit Blissfield's antique shops. It was a full day of fun activity for all. Meet the players and solve the murder mystery through the pictures that follow. Pictures below are partial.
